Exploring Whitworth Art Garden

We met in front of the gallery last Tuesday, the forecast was for torrential rain and Andy said he would meet me there with flippers and a snorkel! But I am so glad that we persevered because the sun came out and it turned into a beautiful afternoon.

The theme for our exploration was 'leaves'. In particular the branching structure of the veins and we thought about different ways of representing these forms that repeat in different scales in nature.
