A beautiful May day immersed in drawing plants, landscapes and buildings at Parrs Wood Environmental Centre. We all found once we were engaged in drawing that even the sounds of the traffic and airplanes receded as we focused on our drawing, Whenever we spend time at the same place drawing the same things it is always astonishing to be reminded that there are infinite ways to represent our environment. No two drawings are the same, and everyone's style, way of looking and noticing things are completely different. You can see more of our drawings here.
Many thanks to Kit and Dot and all the volunteers who made us so welcome on Tuesday, we had a fabulous day, everyone got so much pleasure and inspiration out of being in the centre for the afternoon.
