Mindful Marks

We have really enjoyed a couple of Mindful Marks workshops with Naomi - this is definitely one of Manchester's precious quiet spaces and well worth taking part in - a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Here is the information:

"Mindful Marks is a Wellbeing workshop inspired by mindfulness and drawing techniques, it has been running for three years at Manchester Art Gallery. The workshop gives you the opportunity to take time out of your day to enjoy noticing different music (inspired by the gallery exhibitions) and make marks in response, this is a lovely relaxing process which also helps to bring your mind into the present moment. There is definetly no need for drawing experience, it is simply about letting go and enjoying the process of listening and mark making in a welcoming space.

There are four Mindful Marks sessions a year, some with live music, to be held on Sunday afternoons, the next one will be on the 10th of June between 12 and 2. It is drop in so you can arrive at anytime within those two hours and stay as little or as long as you like, though if there are 5 or more people coming together it is advisable to let me know you are coming. I will be there to welcome you and show you what to do"
