Despite the pouring rain three out of four people showed up for our session in Ardwick Green, Because the forecast was completely wrong two weeks ago, we hoped for the best, but this time it really did just bucket down. Everyone was well prepared with coats and umbrellas. It was lovely to gather again, each session is a different group of people so we start by catching up and sharing news. Exploring Whitworth Art Garden
We met in front of the gallery last Tuesday, the forecast was for torrential rain and Andy said he would meet me there with flippers and a snorkel! But I am so glad that we persevered because the sun came out and it turned into a beautiful afternoon. The theme for our exploration was 'leaves'. In particular the branching structure of the veins and we thought about different ways of representing these forms that repeat in different scales in nature. Here are some of the image

Poetry Sessions @ Pool Arts Studio, with Nigel Wood
